HMO Remedial Work
Due to recent legislation brought in by The Scottish Government in 2005, all properties which have 3 or more habitable rooms require an HMO licence which can be obtained from your local council.
Each property is required to pass a certain standard set out by the government; a breakdown of the categories is shown below.

- Kitchens
- Bathrooms
- Water supply and drainage
- Heating
- Lighting and ventilation
- Fire safety (windows, doors)
- Electrical safety
- Gas safety
- Furniture and soft furnishings
